Artemis II Sets The Record For Most Distant Mission
The crew of Artemis II have set a distance record. They travelled further away from Earth than any other human before. They travelled 406,778km away!
Despite problems such as a toilet malfunction, the mission is so far a success. They passed close by to the Moon on Monday (6th April 2026). They made observations of the Moon surface as they passed. They also named two new craters on the moon. One crater is Integrity and Carroll (one of the astronauts' wifes).
I enjoyed watching the mission and will be sad when it finishes. With so many terrible things happening on Earth, we forgot to explore...
