Hand Drawing Date As 70,000 Years Old
Hand paintings in a cave in Indonesia have been dated as at least 67,800 years old. In that cave there are many different paintings. Some are of people or animals.
Prog Maxime Aubert from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia said “There’s a lot of rock art out there but it’s really difficult to date, [...] when you can date it, it opens up a completely different world.”
The researchers believe the people who made these paintings are the ancestors of people that moved to Australia.
