War

The wars happening in Ukraine and Gaza are terrible. The fear growing around China and Taiwan continues.

I looked war and I found this: there has been no peace since the end of World War II. Every day since then there has been fighting somewhere. Humans are always fighting. We never stop.

• 1942-1954, Hukbalahap Rebellion

• 1948-1960, Malayan Emergency

• 1955-1975, Vietnam War

• 1960-1996, Guatemalan Civil War

• 1991-2002, Sierra Leone Civil War

• 2001-2021, War in Afghanistan

• 2014-present, Russo-Ukrainian War

These are not the only wars in that time. There are many more. We have to do more to stop wars. We have to stop fighting. The people dying and the people running away need us to help.
