Bullet train retired!

The bullet train known as "Doctor Yellow" will be retired over the next few years.

Doctor Yellows were used to inspect train lines, tracks and signals. They would only run every 10 days or so. If you got to ride on one, it was lucky!

Bullet trains are rock stars in Japan. Train spotting is popular across the world, but in Japan it is super popular. Small children often know the names of different series and where they run.
