An Australian with terminal cancer is selling her time to help a cancer charity. Emily, 32, has a cancer that will kill her. Her time is auctioned off for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. She was expected to die within 6-9 months, but through research and treatment in the USA, she is still alive 4 years later.
People buy 3:00 minutes. That time is projected onto the wall in big white numbers in a dark room. People sit with Emily for those 3 minutes. Some people sit quietly with her and some chat, some get emotional and cry,...
This is such a kind thing for Emily to do. She doesn't know when she will die. Most people would want to use that time with family and friends or to travel to places they want to go. Could you do that?
Can you imagine sitting with Emily? What would you do?
