First Time Video of Live Colossal Squid

A colossal squid has been filmed for the first time. Although they can grow up to seven metres, this one is just a baby at 30cm. Before now, it was only found in the stomachs of whales or seabirds.

It was spotted by a team of research scientists using a remote control submarine in the Atlantic Ocean. We have known about this squid for 100 years but has never been seen alive. Until now!
