Nippon Television Apologies after Suggesting People Eat Crow in China

Eat crows? No, thanks!

A television programme is in hot water after editing an interview. They edited a conversation so that it looked like a Chinese woman said "There aren't many crows because everyone eats them" in China. Nippon Television later apoligised.

In the interview, with a Chinese person living in Japan, she spoke about people eating pigeon in China and also separateley about the difference between Japanese and Chinese crows. The TV show, Monday Late Show, then edited the interview to cut out most of the discussion about pigeons. It appeared she was claiming everyone eats crow in China.

It seems they tried to make the interview funny when it was really about something quite interesting. Pigeon is delicious by the way. I have eaten it in the UK!
