Sayings and idioms using "as... as"

There are lots of ways that people use "as... as" sentences in English. It is as useful as... something that is very useful!

Here are some of the more common ones:

as bad as all that

It's not as bad as all that... It means, "it's not that bad". The situation is not as bad as all that. There are many things we can do...

This is super common. We use it a lot! Please study as much as possible. Please read as much English as possible!

This is used for jokes about someone's eyesight or to say that someone or something can't see at all. He is as blind as a bat!
