The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) is a 1982 book from world-famous author Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl wrote many famous children's stories. He wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (チョコレート工場の秘密), James and the Giant Peach (ジャイアント・ピーチ), Fantastic Mr Fox (父さんギツネバンザイ) and Matilda (マチルダは小さな大天才).
This is a movie that uses special effects to create massive beautiful giants, but only one is friendly. The others are nasty and evil. Sophie and the BFG must work together to catch the bad giants. Will the Queen of England help them??
This movie is great fun and the BFG's language is wonderfully strange. Try to listen in English (with subtitles if you need) to hear the lovely accent and unusual words! A great movie to watch with family!
8/10
