The Nintendo Switch 1 is going up in price in the US. That's right, the old Nintendo Switch 1, not the new Nintendo Switch 2 is getting more expensive.
The standard Switch will go from $299 to $329 in the US only. The price change is blamed on tarifs introduced by the US government.
The Nintendo Switch was released in 2017 and has sold more than 150m units. Usually video game consoles get cheaper as they get older, not more expensive. Especially if their successor has already been released.
