Luigi Mansion 3 - Game Review

My brother bought Luigi's Mansion 3 for us at Christmas last year. I asked him to get a game we can play together. I play video games with my son on the weekends.

In Luigi's Mansion 3 Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach and some Toads travel to a hotel. The hotel looks very nice until, in the middle of the night, Luigi's friends are captured. Luigi must save the day rescue his friends.

Me and my son played this together. I played as Luigi and my son played as Gooigi (the Luigi-like goo character on the cover of the game!). It creates some interesting situations. Sometimes I had to do some puzzles and sometimes my son had to do some puzzles.

The ghosts in this game are exciting and spectacular. Each floor of the hotel has some puzzles and a big boss. The bosses hold the elevator buttons for the next floor in the hotel. So, beat a boss and get another floor in the hotel to explore. This makes it exciting for us to beat a boss. Though some of the boss battles were a little long and got boring.

I really loved vacuuming around each of the rooms to search for secrets. That was more fun than actually finding the secrets sometimes though.

I enjoyed playing the game with my son, but I think he enjoyed it more than I did. If you liked the other Luigi's Mansion games, you will enjoy this. But I personally enjoyed the atmosphere of the first game more than this one.
