Skyrim - My favourite video game

When people ask me what my favourite video game is, I usually say The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is one of my favourite video games, but not my favourite.

In truth, my favourite video game is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. People usually just call it Skyrim. Skyrim was made by Bethesda in the USA. It was released on 11th November, 2011 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I played it on PC a few years after it came out. I bought it because it looked cool and it was quite cheap. Usually in role playing games, you choose the kind of character you want to be. Wizard, thief, warrior, etc. In Skyrim, you can be any kind of character. You can be ALL kinds of characters... Any character can master any skill. But that is not why I love it...

First, I love it because the world in this game is so wonderful. Skyrim is a land with tall snowy mountains, thick forrests and flowing rivers. It is a very beautiful place. At night you can see two very big moons and the aurora. In the day, insects, ants and animals are night everywhere. Salmon jump up in the rivers. There are many visual delights in this game.

Next, the places you visit are full of interesting quests and characters. Many things that happen in this game are strange and wonderful. If you play the game today, the quests are simple, but they are presented so well. I was continually surprised by how quests changed. Some quests I thought were simple, were really deep and the start of major stories. Often simple bring-that-item-to-me quests change in unexpected ways that kept me excited to play more.

Lastly, the music. The music is the best game music I have ever heard. It is so powerful and fits the atmosphere so perfectly. I often listen to the music when I want to relax. When I hear the music I feel like I am on a mountain, watching the scenery below. Skyrim is the music and the music is Skyrim.

The game is a little old now. But that means it is easy to buy for cheap! If you have the time, if you like fantasy games, you should try this game.
